I didn’t always know where my path would lead.
What I did know was that creativity made me feel alive.
Long before the performances, the fashion, the titles, or the recognition, I was learning to express myself through art.
Each opportunity opened another door.
Each challenge revealed another lesson.
Each season asked me to grow in ways I never expected.
Over time, performance became more than entertainment.
Fashion became more than clothing.
Community became more than belonging.
They became the language through which I learned who I was.
That journey continues today.
Not because I have all the answers…
But because I believe growth is something we choose again and again.

I’m Miss Shalae.
I’m an artist, fashion designer, mentor, and internationally recognized Beyoncé tribute performer.
For more than two decades, my career has crossed industries that often seem unrelated performance, fashion, education, community leadership, and storytelling.
But to me, they have always been the same work.
Whether I’m designing a garment, producing a performance, mentoring someone finding their voice, or standing on an international stage, my purpose has never been simply to create beautiful things.
It has been to create meaningful experiences.
I believe creativity can restore confidence.
That authenticity is transformative.
That art can become a bridge between who we are and who we have the courage to become.
Everything I build is rooted in that belief.
None of them exist separately.
They are all chapters of the same story.
A story still being written.
